mis-targeted paper-spam

Normally I don’t have a complaint about the amount of paper-spam I receive in my USPS paper mailbox. I hardly get any, and the stuff I do get, I kind of use as an obtuse barometer of my credit health.

But today I got something that made me snort and instantly start making dirisive comments about the sender, Bryman College. I wish I’d kept it, and taken a color scan of their pitch. It was faux legal paper, with crayon-drawing sort of doodling all around the edges. The body text looked like it had been written with an almost dried-up sharpie by a sociopathic 22-year old ricer boy, and there were like faux food smears and a coffee ring.

Basically their pitch was “you know it’s time to get off your ass you douchebag and go to pretend college.” I really don’t know how I ended up on their list, you know? I’ve finished college; I’ve been a professional of some sort for at least ten years… etc etc etc. I’m not their guy!

However, it did make me think for a second… Maybe I do want an exciting new career in handwriting analysis or Adhesives Science.
