A few days ago there was a story on TheRegister called The Perils of Googling.
It’s about some super-tricky sort of hidden features of google that can help you find all kinds of stuff your mom probably wouldn’t want you to find.

I already found a couple uses for it that might make me rich one day, but SHHH! I’m not telling…
You might find lots of things you didn’t expect though, and that might lead you to have some ideas about what you could do with them. That’s what I did.
Oh also, there’s something really frightening afoot but isn’t there always? It’s supposedly that there is some phearphul black network of ‘bot’ed home PCs out there that are being used for nefarious purposes. Or, that one day could be used for such… it’s called phatbot and it’s just hitting the news. That’s kind of odd, because just in the last week or so, it occurred to me that trojan/worm kids could be harnessing all these computing and network resources that are essentially free and un-tended-to … and basically just re-selling access to them to people who want to do Bad Things. Wow.
